Breakbulk Europe

Opportunity knocks at Breakbulk Europe

While the term breakbulk may not be immediately associated with offshore, the connection is most certainly there. The international exhibition Breakbulk Europe is the largest trade show for project cargo and breakbulk. And there you have it: the link with offshore lies in its shared relationship with project cargo.

A number of AYOP members have been participating in the exhibition for years, as Michael van Toledo of TMA Logistics explains: “The ports of IJmuiden, Velsen and Amsterdam play an increasingly large role in the storage and transhipment of breakbulk and project cargo, with the latter also involving wind turbine parts. It is vital therefore to showcase the opportunities that the entire North Sea Canal region has to offer in this regard. And that requires a joint proposition for the region.”

Breakbulk Europe 2022
The next Breakbulk Europe will take place in AHOY Rotterdam on 17, 18 and 19 May 2022. The exhibition attracts some 10,000 port professionals, making it the ideal location to expand networks and generate leads. More information can be found on the exhibition website.

Participation options for AYOP members at Port of Amsterdam stand
With an attractive and well-visited stand, Port of Amsterdam is one of the regular participants at the exhibition. And AYOP members have the opportunity to take part in this stand too. In addition to having your company name/logo featured at the stand, we will be installing touchscreens with an interactive map of our region, and showing presentations from the participating companies on a carrousel. The participation fee will be no more than €2,500 (ex. VAT) depending on the number of participating companies, a small price to pay for an excellent chance to showcase your business and generate new contacts.
