AYOP Annual review 2021

With so many activities on the agenda 2021 passed by very quickly. Although the pandemic was obviously a major challenge, we didn’t let it hold us back. As you can read in our Annual Review together we managed not only to maintain our network but to actually strengthen it.

The year started on a high note, with a New Year’s event facilitated by Boskalis Nederland. This was followed by lots of online meetings with parties such as Bluestream, Eneco, Port of Amsterdam, Tata Steel and TNO. We even cooked together online during our traditional New Year’s Dinner.

Thankfully, we were able to organise various physical events again in the summer, including the AYOP social at TenneT, our port tours and the Offshore Energy course in collaboration with IRO. And who can forget the LOL meeting at CHC Helicopter at Den Helder Airport?

In the framework of exhibitions and seminars we participated in Offshore Energy with a large pavilion, took part in Offshore Industry, and travelled to Wind Europe Copenhagen.

In addition, we launched DecomMissionBlue, worked on the Offshore Wind Innovation Agenda with Techport, and further developed our labour market communication in 2021.

And there was more still, as you can read in this publication, which also shows how our activities are contributing to the AYOP goals. Enjoy the read!
