Company Profile:

The foundation of what is now called Sleepdienst B. Iskes & Zn. B.V. (Towage & Salvage) was already laid at the beginning of the last century. Mr. Jacob Visser started his own ferry service on March 28, 1902 in IJmuiden. Years later, in 1928 to be exact, he bought his first tug. After World War II his son Mr. Jaap Visser decided to continue the business under the name Sleepdienst Visser. After an active life, Mr. Jaap Visser sold his towing service in 1968 to Ben Iskes.  

Iskes Towage & Salvage B.V. provides towage and salvage services for the Amsterdam, IJmuiden and North Sea Area.
At present, the company boasts a fleet of six tugs,
which are available 24/7.
