Ballast Nedam consists of two divisions: Building and Development and Infrastructure. The basic principle of the organization is decentralized enterprise in the business units of these divisions. The holding company has a small staff that supports the Board of Management.
Ballast Nedam primarily target is the Dutch market and in addition to this. Ballast Nedam is selectively active overseas in strong fields and the fields in which they can operate profitably.
Ballast Nedam Infra specialises broad range of infrastructural activities: from road construction to concrete works, from waterworks to engineering and from earthmoving to environmental technology. The independent companies of Ballast Nedam Infra offer their services all over the country.
Specialist knowledge and expertise in many different fields are essential in order to manage the entire construction chain. That is what makes Ballast Nedam Infra stand out: we are at home in many different fields, from initiative and feasibility studies (plan development), through design, procurement, the extraction of raw materials, production and realization, to maintenance and recycling and, if desired, with financing and development included.
