BAM Civiel, a Royal BAM Group operating company, specialises in the design, development, construction, operation and maintenance of a wide variety of civil engineering projects that range from infrastructure and hydraulic engineering to water purification plants and industrial construction. For example, we realise the Euromax quay wall and the “Biovalue” plant in Eemshaven. But we also drill and build the Hubertus tunnel in The Hague and maintain, among others, the Sophia railway tunnel.
We have had experience with alternative contractual forms, such as public-private partnerships, when working on the high speed rail line project and on the A59 and N31 road projects. Furthermore, we have developed numerous innovative solutions, including an inflatable dam at Rampspol to protect the IJsselmeer hinterland, the three-level RW14/N44 intersection and a special concrete structure for the storage of highly radioactive waste in Borssele.
We have wide experience in the construction of water purification plants and parking garages, and can provide specialist knowledge for building submerged tunnels and other sophisticated projects.

Our greatest strength is that we are better placed than any other company to bring together the necessary people and expertise from different disciplines to manage complete complex projects, both large and small.
To facilitate this, we have nationally and regionally based staff with in-house knowledge and in a variety of specialist disciplines, including ground engineering, concrete technology, precast concrete and temporary constructions.
